Bekah- "Wrapping arms around the world" is an apt way of describing this. The LA fires have been such a gut-wrenching experience. I so appreciate your honesty here. Let's keep that stunning smile on and that chin up. So glad you're staying safe.
Thank you, Thalia! And I can't tell you how nice it is to hear from you! How are things in your part of the world? It seems like so many people are dealing with chaos and grief. There's a lot of joy in there, too, though.
Yes you’re right. In hindsight there’s always joy—even when we can’t see it at the time. We’re OK here. Just wishing all the best to our LA friends. ❤️
As you noted, climate-related disasters have turned up in so many places you’ve had relationship to. Because climate-related disasters are already everywhere. And what have we got but more “thoughts and prayers”?
Thank god for climate activists. I’m sorry for sounding so cynical—but I guess all in all I feel pretty cynical. 🫤 I remember marching in a protest in my small town in a gas mask on the first Earth Day, followed by a river clean-up. That was over 50 years ago. And today California burns.

This is why I became a climate activist.

I completely understand the frustration.
I think you’ve expressed what many of us feel. Keep the faith.
Thanks so much, Skip. That means a lot.❤️
Right there with you my friend. 🥲
Mo! I’m going to call you. Off to grab some interviews. Will try you from the road.
Great!😊
